Jenn Colella to Lead KIKI BABY at NYMF, 10/5-16

The New York Musical Theatre Festival in association with Jeffery & Elizabeth Passero are pleased to announce the production of KIKI BABY, directed by Lonny Price and Matt Cowart. KIKI BABY will play six performances at the Theatre at St. Clements (423 West 46th Street, between 9TH & 10TH Avenues). Performances begin Wednesday, October 5th and continue through Sunday, October 16th.

Germany. 1931. Christine Maladin is the only thing standing between her family and the pit of a worldwide depression, until one day a visiting impresario hears the voice of an angel floating from her flat — and determines to make her four-year-old daughter an international star. A tale of fame, fortune, failed opera divas, dwarfs, sweatshop bosses, monumentally bad parenting, and what happens to a little girl when no one will tell her "no."

Off-Broadway: Make Me a Song; The Immigrant; Endgame; Merrily We Roll Along; Normal) as Adalph, Megan Lawrence (Broadway: The Pajama Game (Tony Award Nomination, Best Featured Actress in a Musical); Hair (Revival); Urinetown; Les Misérables) as Frau Dangl, Eric Leviton (TV: Beverly Hills 90210; Boston Public; Diagnosis Murder) as Markus, Stacie Morgain Lewis (Broadway: Sunday in the Park with George; Wicked; Urinetown; Titanic) as Patsy, Jim Walton (Broadway: Bye Bye Birdie, Guys and Dolls, The Music Man, Sweeney Todd (all revivals), Stardust, Merrily We Roll Along, Perfectly Frank, 42nd Street, Company at Avery Fisher Hall and the film version) as Paddy, Helen-Jean Arthur (Broadway: The Moon Besieged; Send Me No Flowers) as Grandmother.

The production features scenic design by James Noone, lighting design by Marc Janowitz, costume design by Wade Laboisonniere and sound design by David Gotwald. Annemarie Milazzo is the vocal arranger, William Ward is the technical director, Tim Semon is the production stage manager. Brierpatch Productions is the general manager.
